Did you Receive an Account Verification Letter from HTK?

Hornor, Townsend & Kent, Inc. (HTK) is the broker-dealer through which your financial professional services your investment and/or variable insurance needs. HTK is a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company and has been providing a full range of investment products and services to clients like you for over 40 years.

In order to properly service your account, we need to maintain accurate and detailed information regarding your financial goals and objectives, as they may change over time. In addition, we are required by our regulatory agencies to periodically verify the accuracy of the information we have on file.

The purpose of this letter is to verify the accuracy of the information that currently resides on your client account record with HTK. The information may pertain to an investment account, variable life insurance policy or variable annuity contract.

We verify the accuracy of the data, which currently appears on your Client Account Record, in one of two ways:

  • If you have a brokerage account with us through Pershing, we verify this information each year on your annual statement. If you have changes or additions, you are asked to call your HTK registered representative.
  • For business placed outside of a Pershing account, we verify this information periodically by sending you a letter and form.

If you recently received a letter to verify your account details, we ask you to please take a moment to review the information on the form you received and follow these steps:

  • If all of the information is accurate, there is no need for you to respond.
  • If any information has changed, or you need to complete a portion of the form, please provide the updated information on the blank lines provided.

Please also be assured that HTK's privacy policy covers all of the information we maintain. We have included a copy of our Client Privacy Statement with this letter, which you can also find on our Web site, www.htk.com, under the Investor Information section.
